Does your piano need tuning?

Typically, it’s a good idea to get your piano tuned in the spring and then again in the fall, when you turn the AC on or the heat on for the season. It probably will need to be tuned after moving it (not necessarily across the room, but from one house to another), or if it hasn’t been tuned in years.

Here’s a recording of an old upright piano that hadn’t been tuned in years before tuning, and another recording of it after I had tuned it, so you can hear the difference:

I am a local Heber piano tuner who can make that old piano sound so much better! And if you get your piano tuned at least once year, it will never get to that point.

Cleaning and repair

If your piano is in need of repair or cleaning, I can help! Sometimes a key might stick, or you might hear some clanking or thumping sounds when you play a particular key. I can find the problem and get it fixed.

Or maybe the inside of your piano is just plain dusty and dirty. Giving it a cleaning once in a while will not only help it sound better and and last longer, but it will put your mind at ease. Check out the before and after of a regular family piano that I cleaned, under the keys:
